My passion is to take part in digital transformation and leadership challenges and to be in charge of change management processes. Digitization affects all industries, regardless of looking on an old or a new economy business model.

It is my firm belief that digital transformation begins with a willingness to change current mindsets — that means it is necessary to understand the huge task to realize digital transformation within (big) organizations. Each member of an organization needs to be convinced and influenced to adapt to the concept that digital transformation also means cultural change. It changes the way we think, how we build products; the needs and buying behaviour of our customers change, too.
Thus, it is inevitable that the C-level provides strong leadership skills combined with a deep understanding of the melange of technological trends, human needs and societal developments that characterize (digital) transformations. Therefore, I devoted my entire career and university education to gain pertinent skills needed for those challenges ahead.

Who am I? An innovative, forward-thinking and determined digital leader, bold in new leadership conduct and socially adept. As a business/corporate strategist and (unconventional) thinker I can refer to years of experience in leading business model transformations resp. further developments. I have successfully realized projects with Fortune Global 500s, companies listed on the German stock exchange (DAX30, MDAX and SDAX) as well as SMEs. Done so as a project leader and/or executive of strategic consulting companies.

Currently, I'm the CEO at TÜV Rheinland Consulting as well as Head of Business Field "Digital Transformation" at TÜV Rheinland Group. My team of 280 colleagues, that I'm honored to lead, is actively driving the digital transformation of the Federal Republic of Germany with many important and future-oriented projects for the government and companies.

Before, I was an executive at KPMG where my team and I tried to revolutionize digital consulting services within financial service industry.

Prior, I was able to found and build a start-up accelerator, named comdirect Start-up Garage which supports a leading German retail bank to intensify and face its digital transformation challenges. As Founder and Head of the program I was responsible for the entire accelerator.
The accelerator enables people with (fintech) ideas at a very early stage to develop a marketable minimum viable product (MVP). It was the first program of this character by a bank within the German startup landscape which addressed people with promising ideas before they have founded a venture.
As a proof of acceptance within the banking scene this project won the Banking Innovation Award 2016 as most innovative business model, a prize awarded by bankenversicherungen.de and FRANKFURT EURO FINANCE. Read more here...
